Elected and appointed officials and community leaders in nine coastal towns on the Blue Hill Peninsula in Hancock County, Maine collaborate as “Blue Hill Peninsula Forward” to collaboratively advance community resilience, energy efficiency and greenhouse gas reduction in the face of climate change.

Organizational Purpose

Blue Hill Peninsula Forward helps town officials and community leaders in Blue Hill, Brooklin, Brooksville, Castine, Deer Isle, Penobscot, Sedgwick, Stonington, and Surry.

It is a Maine nonprofit corporation applying for federal 501(c)(3) status.
